On October 29th, 2018 a Lion Air Boeing 737 MAX 8 was traveling from Jakarta to Pangkal Pinang while carrying 189 passengers on board which also include the crew members. The flight number was JT610, crashed into the sea near the Island of Java a little while after it took off from the airport. One of the officials from the Indonesian Disaster Agency posted a tweet about the accident saying that several pieces of wreckage have been found near the waters off the coast of West Java. The private helicopter, An AgustaWestland AW169 helicopter (G-VSKP), of the Leicester City Football club owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha crashed on Saturday night near a car park just outside the LCFC’s King Power Stadium in Leicester, UK. Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha, who is also the owner of the Belgium football club OHL Leuven left the stadium in the helicopter after the home game, ended. On May 1st, 2018 a B-1B supersonic heavy bomber of the 7th Bomb Wing at Dyess Air Force Base in Texas was making its return from the routine training exercise. On board were the four young crew members; Maj. Ivan Vian; pilot and aircraft commander, Maj. Michael Griffin; copilot, Lt. Col. James Couch; Offensive Weapons System Officer and Lt. Col. On September 6th, 2018 an American Airlines flight headed from Los Angeles to Dallas was diverted from its original travel plans and was landed in the smaller Wichita Falls Airport. The flight was being carried out by an Airbus A321. The flight which landed in Texas was eventually canceled and the pilot of the aircraft got a brilliant idea to calm down the frustrated passengers. On October 25th, 2018; British Airways released a statement and an alarming news about further updates on the previously theft of its customer data. A news has been confirmed by the Belgium Government on October 25th, 2018 that Belgium is going to buy 34 new F-35A Lightning II fighter jets from Lockheed Martin. These new Lockheed Martin F-35A Lightning II will be bought for replacing the old Lockheed F-16 fighter jets. These Lockheed F-16 fighter jets have been in use of the Belgium Air Force since the last four decades. One other candidate for replacing Lockheed F-16 fighter jets was the Eurofighter Typhoon Jet. On October 24th, 20-218 a US Air Force C-17 Globemaster III which belonged to the 437th airlift wing stationed at Joint Base Charleston, accidentally dropped a Humvee it was transporting in the Harnett County, North Carolina. Fortunately, no one was injured in this accident. The Humvee was released early because of the malfunction of the pallet over which the Humvee was placed. Royal Thai Air Force (RTAF) earlier today received the delivery for its seventh and eight H225M military helicopters. RTAF has ordered a total of 12 H225Ms for its fleet for the purpose of modernizing its air force arsenal. The contract was signed officially in 2016, after which the RTAF will be able to have additional helicopters in it’s already a fleet of 6 H225M military helicopters. On 24th October’s morning, an Indonesian woman reportedly gave birth to a child mid air on an Etihad Airways flight. The flight was headed from Abu Dhabi to Jakarta on Wednesday morning. The news has been confirmed by Etihad Airways officials. Following the emergency medical protocol, the flight was immediately diverted to land on Mumbai Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport. After landing the ambulance on the standby took the woman to the Seven Hills Hospital in Andheri East. The woman and her child are now alright and are recuperating.
