On October 31st, 2018 at the Imam Khomeini Airport in Tehran a wreckage of an old Airbus suddenly caught fire. The Airbus wreckage in question was for the Airbus A300. As soon as the fire started, rescue services were called in. the rescue services came in within minutes of reporting on the scene and successfully contained the fire from spreading. According to airport officials, no further damage has been incurred to the airport infrastructure. With the new technology being introduced by Emirates to its customers, checking-in and boarding will now be a very swift and easy process. Emirates; the UAE based carrier has plans to introduce the Iris and Facial recognition technology for its flights at the Dubai International Airport. Back in August of 2017, two of the British Royal Air Force C-130J cargo aircraft carriers were sold to the Bahrain Royal Air Force under the contract of 30M GBP. One of these two Hercules C5s is now registered as Bahrain Amin Flight and is coded as Amin Flight 701 which was formerly ZH880. It is already donning the Royal Bahrain Air Force colors. The private helicopter, An AgustaWestland AW169 helicopter (G-VSKP), of the Leicester City Football club owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha crashed on Saturday night near a car park just outside the LCFC’s King Power Stadium in Leicester, UK. Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha, who is also the owner of the Belgium football club OHL Leuven left the stadium in the helicopter after the home game, ended. On May 1st, 2018 a B-1B supersonic heavy bomber of the 7th Bomb Wing at Dyess Air Force Base in Texas was making its return from the routine training exercise. On board were the four young crew members; Maj. Ivan Vian; pilot and aircraft commander, Maj. Michael Griffin; copilot, Lt. Col. James Couch; Offensive Weapons System Officer and Lt. Col. On September 6th, 2018 an American Airlines flight headed from Los Angeles to Dallas was diverted from its original travel plans and was landed in the smaller Wichita Falls Airport. A news has been confirmed by the Belgium Government on October 25th, 2018 that Belgium is going to buy 34 new F-35A Lightning II fighter jets from Lockheed Martin. These new Lockheed Martin F-35A Lightning II will be bought for replacing the old Lockheed F-16 fighter jets. These Lockheed F-16 fighter jets have been in use of the Belgium Air Force since the last four decades. One other candidate for replacing Lockheed F-16 fighter jets was the Eurofighter Typhoon Jet. Royal Thai Air Force (RTAF) earlier today received the delivery for its seventh and eight H225M military helicopters. RTAF has ordered a total of 12 H225Ms for its fleet for the purpose of modernizing its air force arsenal. The contract was signed officially in 2016, after which the RTAF will be able to have additional helicopters in it’s already a fleet of 6 H225M military helicopters.
