At the China International Aviation & Aerospace Exhibition and Airshow China, in Zhuhai; China presented a new drone model equipped with the latest stealth features. The drone model was unveiled at the Airshow on the booth of China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation (CASIC). The drone model was hidden under a tarp in the start. Elephant Walk is an air force training exercise which is conducted by nearly all the air forces across the globe regularly. This exercise is conducted to check if they air force squadrons are able to launch large formations of aircraft on a short notice or not. In this drill, the combat aircraft which also include the tankers taxi close to each other in a formation close to each other. Today we present to you some of the photos from the Marine Corps Air Station Miramar located in California. These photos were taken on 31st, October 2018 which show an MV-22 Osprey tilt-rotor aircraft. This aircraft belongs to the Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 163 “Evil Eyes” and the plane has been presented in a new color scheme by the Shayne Meder also known as the Flygirlpainter. On 29th October 2018 the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan in an inauguration ceremony for the Istanbul Airport stated these words in front of an audience of 5000 guests, “this airport, the largest in the world, shall be known as Istanbul Airport”. The opening ceremony for the airport was conducted on the Turkish National Day which is also the 95th anniversary for the Republic of Turkey since its founding. On October 28th, 2018 a pilot named Katsutoshi Jitsukawa was arrested at the Heathrow airport for being drunk. The pilot after his arrest pleaded guilty for being drunk almost 9 times than the legal alcohol limit for pilots. The pilot was arrested shortly after he failed his breath test. In the breath test, he recorded at having 189 mg of alcohol per 100 ml of blood in the system. The normal alcohol limit for pilots is 20 mg. The pilot pled guilty for this crime of exceeding the alcohol limit in front of a judge at the Uxbridge Magistatrates court.…
The aircraft in our post today shows the ‘The Royal Saudi Air Force’s’ F-15S which belongs to the 92nd Sqn/3rd Flying Wing. The aircraft took off from the King Abdulaziz Air Force Base under the operation dubbed as “Inherent Resolve” which is led by the US for the anti ISIL campaign in regions of Syria and Yemen. This aircraft is now equipped with Goodrich DB-110 reconnaissance pod. Saudi Air Force was awarded by ten dual band recce pod for real-time, long range, and high-resolution video imagery reconnaissance missions under the part of 2012 contract between Goodrich and U.S. Air Force.…
On October 31st, 2018 at the Imam Khomeini Airport in Tehran a wreckage of an old Airbus suddenly caught fire. The Airbus wreckage in question was for the Airbus A300. As soon as the fire started, rescue services were called in. the rescue services came in within minutes of reporting on the scene and successfully contained the fire from spreading. According to airport officials, no further damage has been incurred to the airport infrastructure. Despite the incident being reported at the earliest and the rescue services containing the fire, four people still ended up with minor injuries. These injured personnel…
On 29th October 2018 Monday morning, the US Army released a video of the two of their tactical transport aircraft; one being the C-17 Globe Master III and the other being the C-130 Hercules. The video revealed the deployment of the US Army troops being deployed to the US/Mexico brooder for the support of the latest army mission “Faithful Patriot”. Emirates; the UAE based carrier has plans to introduce the Iris and Facial recognition technology for its flights at the Dubai International Airport.
