    Thai Airways; a Boeing 747-400 skids off Bangkok Suvarnabhumi runway

    On October 8th, 20-18, one of the Thai Airways Boeing 747-400 coming from Guangzhou skidded off from the runway after making its landing on the Bangkok Suvarnabhumi airport.

    According to the report, heavy rain has been one of the causes. One of the airline’s representatives told media that no one was injured. The flight carried about 97 passengers along with 18 crew members.

    Passengers were safely transported to the airport lounge where they waited for their luggage. Airport offered them complimentary foods and beverages.

    Aviation Authorities has launched an investigation after 6 hours of the incident and the aircraft was pulled off from the unpaved part of the runway.
