Etihad Airways has announced to increasing a fourth daily service light to London during the four weeks that surrounds Christmas and New York this year.

The Abu Dhabi air carrier said that they will increase their flight to London Heathrow airport from December 13th 2018 to January 13th, 2019 to be able to provide the peak demands from their passengers during these festive seasons.

The flights are to be operated by two class Boeing 787-9s that will feature 28 Business Studios and a 271 Economy Star Smart Seats.

Jams Harrison; General Manager for Etihad Airways in UK and Ireland said that, “We are very thrilled to announce this news for additional flights to London for these festive periods”.

Etihad has also said that thee additional flights will offer the passengers more opportunities for connecting flights that are travelling between London and other destinations across the globe.

The first extra flight is going to depart from Abu Dhabi at 7:05 am and will land on Heathrow Airport at around 11 am. The return light is going to depart from London at 12:50 pm and will arrive back at Abu Dhabi Airport at 11:45 am.

These services are being scheduled in addition to Etihad Airways’ already scheduled 3 daily flights from Abu Dhabi to London that will be operated on 3 class Airbus A380 Aircraft.

In addition to increased lights to London, Etihad Airways has also announced seasonal frequency on other key routes as well to meet the peak winter period passenger demands.

The additional capacity increases includes destinations like Bahrain, Belgrade, Cairo, Istanbul, Medina and Kuwait.
