A privately owned P-51D Mustang aircraft; a vintage fighter plane that was used in the action of World War 2 and also used in the Korean War crashed during a re-enactment show in Texas.
The crash happened in a parking lot of an apartment complex in Fredericksburg, Texas which is located about 70 miles north of San Antonio.
According to the initial reports, two crewmen aboard this aircraft have died.
This aircraft was organized for the reenactment show on Saturday morning of November 18th, 2018 under the title of WWII Pacific Combat Programme. The main organizer for this show was the National Museum of the Pacific War. The museum was the one that confirmed the death news of the two pilots. One of the pilots was actually a military veteran.
The plane not only was destroyed completely, but it also damaged the nearby parked cars.
The Mustang was built in 1940 by the North American Aviation. It had been used in the action of World War II and the Korean War.
