While it might seem easy for a helicopter to be flying in the air, in reality it is as hard as biting nails. One wrong move the whole thing can come crashing down. You have to have the nerves of steel to keep yourself prepare for any kind of situation.
Have you ever seen the movies or any live crash videos, you will notice one thing clearly that even though the pilots are certain of the impending danger, they remain as calm as possible in these situations while following the procedure and remembering their training.
USAF is whole another beast when it comes to training of their pilots, be it for fighter aircrafts, attack or tactical helicopters. These soldier pilots are the cream of the army with nerves harder than steel. They are equipped to deal with any unforeseen circumstances in the best possible way.
In our today’s video we are going to present to you a video with a compilation of army helicopters being landed on the decks of the military carrier ships. As it was not enough that the helipad is too short in length, the sea is on a full on rage. Waves are crashing up and down as high as ten feet, rocking these vessels sideways. However the amazing helicopter pilot of army and navy are still able to erectly land these helicopters without any problem at all.
It is just impossible to explain the trouble the pilot has to go through in handling in normal conditions much less in the middle of the sea and in the heart of a raging sea.
Well in our opinion these, pilots do deserve applause for their sheer perfect landings on to these military vessels.
