This aircraft cannot be called a helicopter because its official name is a Tiltrotor. This means that this aircraft can either take off vertically like a helicopter or fold its wings to attain fast speed flying like fixed winged aircraft.

The Bell Boeing V-22 Osprey is mainly used for cargo purposes in the USAF. This aircraft can lift up to 24 combat troops while carrying an internal cargo of 9000 kilograms and an external cargo f 6800 kilograms.

At that time Bell Helicopter and Boeing Aircraft were both given a joint development contract for the production of a Tiltrotor aircraft. The very first V-22 took the flight back in 1989. The aircraft since then has been deployed in both combat and rescue missions across the following countries.
