Fashion designer; Mr. Billotta behind these uniform designs, said that, “when I started to design these clothes for Turkish airline, the first thing that inspire me was Istanbul. This city has been for centuries, the hub for art and civilizations that has a rare richness of many different heritages. I was intending to bring traditional calligraphy and mosaics together in Turkish motifs.

For the launch of his new uniform designs, Turkish Airline teamed up with Miles Aldridge; a British photographer and artist. The photoshoot for these new uniforms was shot at popular and unique spots of Istanbul.

According to Aldridge he said, I was really inspired to see theses uniforms as they looked to be a hard back to the golden age of couture from the 50’s, still with a  modern contemporary twist.”
