    Melania Trump’s aircraft forced to return at Joint Andrews Air Force Base after smoke and burning smells erupt

    On October 17th, 2018, the first lady of USA Melania Trump’s aircraft was forced to make a return back to the Joint Andrews Air Force Base after the smoke and burning smells were detected in her aircraft.

    She was travelling in a Boeing C-32A. Melania Trump was travelling on the aircraft headed towards Philadelphia where she was to visit the Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. However, her travel plans were cut short only after 10 minutes of take off.

    Some of the press members on board that plane have reported that a thin hazy line of smoke along with the smell of something burning could be detected. As an emergency procedure, passengers onboard were given wet towels to breathe through until evacuation. This sudden issue was caused by a mechanical issue.

    The aircraft was made to return to the air base and made its return safely. At the same time of the plane making its return, another plane was prepared to bring Melania Trump back to Philly.
