The passengers aboard the Beijing-Warsaw flight on an aircraft of the LOT Polish Airlines are not going to forget their journey on 15th November 2018.

According to the reports of passengers, they had to wait for 10 hours before the flight LO92 departed and that was not all. They were asked money from the LOT employ to repair a pump of the plane. The aircraft was Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner. The airlines were initially in the complete refusal of any such thing happening. However, a member of the LOT management has already paid the passengers their money back in Warsaw.

After arriving at Warsaw a group of passenger traveling from Beijing who also paid money for the missing part of the aircraft was asked to say at the airport.

Maciej Wilk, a member of the LOT operational management board met them and said, “I know that today have been an unexpected situation and we like to apologize for it. The problem was caused because a warehouse employee in Beijing only wanted cash for the missing part and effused to accept any other form of payment. Because of this, the whole situation happened. Our representative in Beijing, Mr. Krzysztof took this unusual decision. I am nevertheless grateful to make the plane fly back to Warsaw. I thank you all for your cooperation and I apologize for the whole situation”.

After returning the borrowed money to these passengers they also gave them small gifts which were actually “Tickets for their next flight”.

The pane had a “Hydraulic Fluid leak problem”. It was necessary to replace one of the Hydraulic and repair took almost 10 hours to find the source of the problem and fix it.
