Sheikha Mozah bint Marwan bin Mohammed bin Hasher Al Maktoum has recently become a social media hit after her video of flying an emirates plane to Italy goes viral on social media. She earned her wings as the first ever Emirati Female pilot as a member of Dubai’s Royal Family back in 2016.
This Emirati Princess got her pass from the APP First Officer Programme from CAE Oxford Aviation Academy back in 2016. She is being shown in a video where she is seen at a flight deck of an airplane. The video was posted by her aunt; Sheikha Shamsa Al Maktoum and since the posting, the video has been liked by over 6000 followers.
In this video, Sheikha Mozah is seen talking to the passengers from the mic in both Arabic and English announcing the news of airplane’s arrival on Milan airport.
Her words in the video are as follows.
“Good morning ladies and gentlemen this is your first officer Moza Al Maktoum speaking, we are cruising at an altitude of 35,000 feet and we will be descending into Milan airport shortly.”
Aisha Al Mansouri became the first ever female pilot in 2016 to fly an Etihad Airways Emirati A380 aircraft whereas her sister; Major Mariam Al Mansouri became the first ever Emirati Female Fighter jet pilot.
