Back in 2006, Steve Beatty, the assistant metro editor for the AJC (Atlanta Journal Constitution) flew in with Lt. Kevin Davis in the Blue Angel jet. Lt. Davis was the part of the Navy’s Blue Angels team for the support role. He was the pilot who was giving the cleared media reporters rides before the start of the Naval Air Station Atlanta Air Show. The video ever since then has been viewed by hundreds and thousands of people on ‘ajc.com’ and ever since then this video has become one of the most viral videos. Lt. Davis also named this videos as “Are you with me, Steve?” due to Steve frequent lapses of unconsciousness. The video is funny as hell sowing the Steve passing out many times. What makes the video more funny is that actually Steve revealed some time later that he told L. Davis he had been up in other aerobatic panes once or twice. This was why perhaps according to Steve himself, Lt, Davis took him to edge of speed of sound multiple times and he lost consciousness in hilarious possible ways. Unfortunately, Lt. Davis who was promoted to rank of Lt. Commander died in a Blue Angles crash back in 2007. No more information of the crash has been revealed. For the time being just watch this video of Steve passing out and Davis calling out “Are you with me, Steve?” Sorry for the poor video quality as the video was taken for the aircrafts cockpit cam located inside. The video also contains the direct commentary from Steve Beatty himself. Share this content:
