Military helicopter flyby underneath the Brooklyn Bridge in NYC

Back in April of this year, some of the Military helicopters namely MH-60s and MH-6s carried out a series of exercises in New York City. These helicopters belonged to the 160th SOAR “Night Stalkers”. The event was reported by one Tyler Rogoway that US Army Choppers were flying over lower Manhattan region. During their flight, Tyler saw the helicopters carrying special operators that were flying pass by the skyscrapers. At one time, these Military helicopters fly by underneath the Brooklyn Bridge as visible in the following video. 160th Special Operation Aviation Regiment is one of the highly specialized combat aviation squad with its headquarter in Campbell, Kentucky. This combat aviation squad is a support squad for the following US elite and coalition units. Army Special Forces Naval Special Warfare (SEALs) The 160th SOAR usually performs usually in missions like Attacks Assaults Reconnaissance Infiltration Exfiltration Any other known special operation This regiment usually operates in night hence the name Night Stalkers. The video shows clearly the helicopters carrying special operators that are involved in a simulated terror attack on a vessel. According to Rogoway; the choppers wee flying at low level at night time and there were even reports that a Staten Island Ferry was flanked near the Hudson River by police boats. It is certainly possible that the special operators from these helicopters must have rappelled down on o he vessel to mock a terrorist attack or hostage scenario. Share this content:
