Military Aircraft That Are Flying Right Now (Part 4)
Well, we are back again and this time we bring some of the more interesting aircraft that are serving their respective militaries with their might in both flight and firepower. Well, some of these are actually used in the transportation of the troops and cargo but this does not mean that they are not able to pack a punch in them. To keep it short, we invite our beloved readers to have a read of some of the military aircraft that are flying right now (part 4). Sikorsky CH-53K King Stallion The Sikorsky CH-53K King Stallion is the heavy duty transport helicopter that has been serving mainly the US Military’s Marine Corps since 2018. They say when the Marine Corps wants something heavy to be transported now, they actually mean for it to be delivered it yesterday. This is the main concept behind the Sikorsky CH-53K King Stallion. The Sikorsky CH-53K King Stallion is a heavy duty lift transport helicopter that has been designed to easily lift a payload of nearly 35000 pounds and an ability to deliver the said payload 126 miles away. The Sikorsky CH-53K King Stallion was built on the special request of the Marine Corps as an evolution to its predecessor, in order to transport the bulk of gear and troop shipments on the front line. The Sikorsky CH-53K King Stallion s actually he improvement being made on the previous generation Super Stallion and Stallion transport helicopter that has served extensively for the Marine Corps’ rotary fleet. Sikorsky UH-60 Black Hawk The Sikorsky UH-60 Black Hawk is the utility helicopter that has been serving for the US Military since 1979 after having many upgrades in its design to keep up with the current military needs. There is literally no other helicopter other than the Sikorsky UH-60 Black Hawk which has seen as much service for the US military in the war times as it has. The helicopter gained its worldwide fame after it being sued in the Hollywood film titled “Black Hawk Down”. The Sikorsky UH-60 Black Hawk has the ability to transport a unit of 11 soldiers in all their gears to the front lines on a moment’s notice. The aircraft is one of the greatest utility helicopters in the world with its manned gunners to provide suppressing fire to the enemy forces while the infantrymen rappel down from the other side or to make a drop. The helicopter other than its front line troop transportation has also become a staple for medical evac missions all thanks to its ability of maneuvering capability in short spaces as well as having the ability to adjust in 6 stretchers. The helicopter has served its time both in the war-torn region as well as in humanitarian missions as a multirole utility helicopter. The helicopter is trusted in its service. In fact, it is so much trusted in its capabilities that Marine Corps has actually maintained a Sikorsky UH-60 Black Hawk for the purpose of transportation detail of President. Dassault Rafale “Burst of Fire” Dassault Rafale is the fighter jet that has been serving the French Air Force since 2001 till this day as its most prized jewel in the field of jet fighter aircraft. As the 70s came to an end, so did the Cold War. At that time, for many countries to maintain a fleet of single-purpose aircraft was not only expensive bet also hard to sell at that time. During that time, France came up with a plan to create an aircraft that had not only low maintenance cost but was also cheap to buy for any of the world militaries to include in the Air Force. Despite it waiting for nearly 20 years for its first active military service, Dassault Rafale is an aircraft that has been labeled as “One Size Fits All” when it comes to military avionics. The Dassault Rafale is one of the highly capable aircraft for the following mission objectives. Close air support Air superiority Ground Strikes Nuclear deterrence The Dassault Rafale is identical to the Saab Gripen in its design and multitudes of fighter capacitates. Shenyang J-11 The Shenyang J-11 is the fighter jet that has been serving the Chinese Air Force since 1998 as their multirole jet fighter. After the Russian Air Force came up with the Su-27, there were many militaries that came up with their own unique fighters but none were able to compete with it. As for Chinese, they decided to make a jet fighter of their own which would be based on the design of the Su-27. This is when the Shenyang J-11 makes its entry into the Chinese air space and stuns the world. The aircraft made its first appearance back in the 90s. The very first Shenyang J-11b was spotted by the US Navy in 2014 when it intercepted on their Navy’s anti-submarine planes in the region of the South China Sea. According to the reports issued by the US Navy, the Shenyang J-11 made several close passes and as a result of it, it showed its undercarriage as well as its wide array of weapons. The incident although took place in the international air space, China assumed no responsibility for any wrongdoing.
