Delta Airlines flight was canceled after smoke stated pouring from engine before take off

One of the Delta Airline flight was cancelled before the take off after smoke suddenly started to pour out from one of the engine. The flight was destined for Detroit flying from San Francisco. The flight which was due to depart on 16th September 2018 was cancelled immediately after the aforementioned discovery. Frightened passengers were immediately evacuated. The whole scene was captured by on board passengers and you can even hear them saying, “Can you smell that? Is there a fire outside?” A Fox 2 News reporter; Jennifer Hammond was also aboard the very same plane. She commended the cabin crew and also stated that every one of the passengers was safely transported to another plane. The plane in question was moved to the airport terminal for investigation by maintenance technicians. The plane was carrying 229 passengers and these passengers were then transferred to another flight headed for Motor City. A spokesperson of Delta Airlines said to media that, “the safety of our customer and crew is always pout top priority. The plane is currently under evaluation from maintenance crew.” One of the passengers onboard; Jeff Holloway said that the defective engine smelled and sounded like a tire had blown out. Earlier this year another Delta Airlines flight headed to Heathrow airport made an emergency landing after one of its engine suddenly catching fire. The plane after being airborne for few minutes suddenly caught fire in one of its engine forcing the pilot to make an emergency landing at Atlanta Hartsfield International Airport. The alit plane was greeted by fire crew and settled down the blazing plane.  All the passengers and crew members were evacuated safely.
