Aeromexico; a Boeing 737-800 hits a drone during approach; damages nose cone and other random places
On December 12th, 2018 a Boeing 737-800 of the Aeromexico was scheduled on a domestic flight no. AM770. The aircraft was headed from Guadalajara Airport to the Tijuana Airport. During its approach at the Tijuana Airport, the aircraft collided with a flying drone in its path. According to media reports, this drone collision resulted in the damage to the aircraft’s nose cone and some other damages to the random places. However, the aircraft did not suffer any major problems and safely landed back on the Tijuana Airport.
